Easter 2008!

We had so much fun this year for Easter! Rylee was really excited to go on an Easter egg hunt... We went to Chris's family's house & had dinner... Rylee got to play out side with her favorite buddy Colton... They have so much fun together... She was chasing him around in her dress every where he went... She was trying to " smell " her flower all day on her dress... It was pretty funny... Ella loved all the plastic eggs & was having a hard time being happy, until she saw those... We met Holly & her family after wards for an Easter egg hunt too! That was a ton of fun... Our girls were so tired by the end of the day... After church, 2 hunts, & the park they were ready for bed... They were both asleep by 7:30 pm which was awesome.. It would have been a great time to get things done if I was not also exhausted:).. We missed our families in Arizona & would loved to have been there with them... Maybe next year:)

Ella's Finally Walking!!!

Ella has been cruising around furniture & taking steps for months now... She is finally starting to walk around... She still likes to use "tools" to get around, but is doing it all on her own as well... She gets so excited that she knocks her self over.. It is the cutest thing ever... Her hair is getting curly in the back & it is so cute... She has been staring to say yah, yah, when we tell her no,no... She is so adventurous & into everything.. She is the ring leader & Rylee follows... We bought her a lambie yesterday for her night night... Just like Rylee's that she likes to steal... She was so excited to got to sleep with a friend last night... She was squealing like a pig & kicking her feet.. All you could hear on her monitor was ticky, ticky, ticky.... She likes to tickle things & say that.. It was so cute... She allows likes to put everything in her mouth & I mean everything :) Here are some recent pictures of her..

Nemo's House....

Today we went to visit Nemo's house... We went to the living planet aquarium... It was so cool... The girls had a blast & so did I.... They had a Nemo tank with all of the fish from the movie.. An octopus, star fish, sea horses, sharks, jelly fish, & sting rays... They had about 10 sting rays in a big exhibit that you could actually pet!!! I was chicken & so was Violet.. Rylee would have pet them if she could have reached... They come towards you & swim up the side of the display, it's pretty cool... The Jelly fish were the coolest thing that I've ever seen... It was so fun... They would change colors from blue to pink...Of course to Rylee everything was Nemo... She was so excited to be there... Even Ella got in on the action & wanted to touch everything... Our "closet walker," pushed the stroller every where.. It was so cute.. I guess you could say that she is officially walking! This is definitely a place that everyone should visit... I can't wait to go back with Chris... I know he will touch the Sting Rays... This should be fun :)

Life's Unfair, Sometimes :(

I am so disappointed! We bought princess Disney Tickets on ice 6 weeks ago, for a performance tonight... We were supposed to have a girls night out ( Rylee & I ).. We were meeting Holly, Berkley, Violet, Kasey, Katelynn, & Harlie for the big show tonight... Rylee woke up this morning & threw up once... She went all day until 6:30 with out another episode.. I had been watching her & trying to decide if we were going to try & make the show.. We went & bought some princess jewelry for all the girls & got ready to leave.. We were pulling up to ride the "train " (trax ), when Rylee "lost it" in the car.. She had been pointing out all the big trucks, & yellow school buses, when all the sudden she got quiet... I got her all cleaned up & we drove all the way back home... We walked in the door & the first thing she said was, I want to ride the train with my friends mom... She had been talking all day about the princess's, Katleynn, Harlie, Berkey... She keept saying is it dress time yet... I'd say later, will go with our friends... So needless to say I am so bummed out that we had to miss it... I was so excited to see her reaction to it... It would have been priceless to see... I hope she feels better... I guess if she was older & understood more, she would have been a little more upset about not being able to go then she was...Now I just hope that the rest of us don't catch it... Better luck next year :)

Family Update

I am finally posting some new pictures!.. Janeice are you happy?
Today was the first time in 3 weeks that Rylee hasn't been kicked out of dance, or we've had to leave early.. Her favorite teacher was finally there, so she once again loves it! They have another performance coming up in May & June... This performance is a little more "grown up" then the last one, hopefully she gets it! There's a lot of of hip shaking & head bopping moves... She's got her work cut out:) We can't wait to see it, the last one was so hysterical to watch!
Ella's cutting 2 more teeth right now, on the bottom... We're up to 6 now, but who's counting? :) She still isn't full on walking.. She likes to use our walls to get around & the baby stroller... She walks short distances & I guess gets winded, guess she stops when ever.. She has recently learned how to bark like a dog & says UH, OH.. Her other new favorite word is more.. She uses this often when she eats.. Ella & Rylee have some much fun together... Ella is often the leader of the adventure, while Rylee follows.. I can only imagine what she will be into, once she is off & running.. I am going to be exhausted... We are getting the girls pictures taken this month, so we will add them soon...
