I have so much catching up to do! Annistyn turned 6 months old on the 8th. I can't believe how fast this has gone by. She is finally growing but she is still little for her age. She is the spitting image of Rylee as a baby. She is wearing Rylee's dress from her first Christmas in these pics. She weighs 14.7 lbs and is 27 inches long. She is only in the 25th percentile for weight but 90th for her height. She is long and lean. She is such a sweet little girl and loves her sisters. She is finally getting some hair. She is starting to sit up, she's not a pro but will be there soon. She is in a phase of growling and does this often, it is very cute. She does this the most right after her bath, which she also loves. I doubt she will be crawling by 8 months, but I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Happy Haunting.......

This year for Halloween Rylee was a "pumpkin princess" and Ella was a light up fairy. Little Annie was supposes to be a tootsie roll but she was too little for her costume. So she was a cute little lady bug instead. Which I loved all the padding the costume had. It made it so much easy to hold her. She was a trooper and loved being out with all the kids. This year we lucked out with the nicest weather in about 3 years to trick or treat in. We went to our favorite tricking spot which is daybreak and it was a great night, with great friends. We can't wait til next year.

It hard to believe but little Annie is almost 5 months old! As of her 4 month check up she was 12lbs 60z and 25 inches tall. She is still pretty little but hopefully she will chunk up soon. Right now she looks a lot like Rylee but it seems to change depending on the week. She LOVES her sisters and is fascinated by them. She really likes Rylee and Rylee loves to take care of her.
She is very sweet and loves to be held. She is getting easier and has decided she likes to take naps in crib, yeah for mommy. We love having her in our home and watching her grow.

September 17th was a special day for our family, we got to celebrate one of our favorite people. Chris's grandma turned eighty and we all decided to throw her a party! She's a popular girl and had lots of friends and family show up to celebrate this special day. Anyone who meets Barbara would agree that she is the funniest, sweetest, kindest, spunkiest, most caring, free spirited person you will ever meet. She means so much to us and we love her dearly. For me she is the only grandma that I have known and I feel blessed to have her in my life. The girls refer to her as the "real" grandma." The grandma at the cabin and they love her to pieces. We loved getting to see this party all come together for no one more deserving than her. We can't wait to do this again for her 90th birthday. We are looking forward to many more years of happiness with her.

The hat boxes are her cake!

So I'm a little behind these days. We blessed Annistyn July 17th when my family was out visiting from AZ. It was so nice to have everyone here for her special day. Despite some major wardrobe malfunctions it turned out to be a great day. Thanks to some amazing sisters we had some yummy food and lots of help. It was nice to have all of our family and friends here to celebrate. Just wanted to post some of my favorite pics. from the day.

Annistyn had her 10 week check up last week. I can't believe she is almost 3 months. This has gone by way too fast for me. She is 11lbs 5oz so she has gained 4 lbs since her 2 week check up. I was shocked I thought she was maybe 10 pds. She looks so little and we get so many comments about how tiny she still is. It turns out she's in the 90th percentile for her height and 50th percentile for her weight, so she is doing great. She's just long and lean. We're a little worried about the clarity of her vision. We may need to take her to an eye doctor if in the next week she isn't making more direct eye contact and smiling. She's starting to be awake a little more and depending on the time of day she is smiling and starting to coo. She started sleeping through the night at 9 weeks so that has been great for the momma. Too bad I'm up working crazy hours or I may actually enjoy it. She is a joy to have in our home although she is a little more high maintenance then her sisters. I love having a little baby again in our home. It's sad to think she could be the last, so I am trying to enjoy every minute of it. So be warned if you come to our house there will be dishes in the sink and yep it's a mess. She'll be big before I know it and my house can be clean again next year when she's not a baby.

Two down, one more to go

Both Rylee and Ella are officially in school. Technically Ella is just in preschool but she feels like it's pretty official. She started preschool last week and is beyond excited to be there. She is a little sponge and loves to learn. She has been pretty disappointed that she doesn't have any home work but loves to talk about her day at school. She also loves going to school cause she gets to be there with her best bud Braylon. They are so cute together! I can't wait to watch her learn and get ready for kindergarten. She is so smart already and she is such a sweet little girl!

Rylee started first grade on the 26th of July. So far she likes it and her favorite part of school is lunch! She loves her teacher and thinks she's beautiful. Rylee is something else though. She is way too much like me. On her second day of school she decided it would be cool to ignore me. When I pulled up to get her at the flag pole she was talking with some "older" boys they were maybe 8. I called for her repeatedly but she stood there tossing her hair and pretending like she couldn't see me. It took yelling her name 5 times to get her to come to my car. Basically when I pull up to get her if she is talking with friends she pretends she can't see me but if shes by herself she'll come straight to my car. On the second week of school she informed Chris that she saw an 8 year old boy in the hall and told him he was a cutie! She is a little boy crazy right now and talks about them a lot, she seems way too young for that! I can hardly wait for her to be in junior high, we're in for it!

PS. She insisted on having a back pack with wheels and was so excited to get one. It looked like she was boarding a plane on the first day when she was in line "wheeling her luggage" into school. But of course when she came home she said mom everyone loved my back pack.
