Why kids shouldn't dance on tables!

This is a shout out to Chris.
It's easy to forget the small things when you focus on all the "big" things. I am not sure how many moms get to sleep in on the weekends & wake up to laundry being done? Or working moms that come home to a clean house, with sleeping kids?
I woke up this weekend to the girls playing in a fort (built by dad) & all their bedding being washed. Chris is always so good about helping out around the house, I know I take it for granted. He's great about doing things without having to be asked. I need to remember all the "little" things when I am feeling over whelmed. I forget how lucky I really I'm.
Thank you Chris for being such a "Handy Manny." I love you!

Ella's Dora Adventure
These are just a few pictures from Ella's party. The girls all had so much fun! I am not sure that Ella ever figured out what was going on. She didn't know what to think of her cake & seemed a little scared. It took her awhile to actually eat it. Days before her party, she was talking non stop about her "special" Dora party. I think it was hit?! Enjoy.
Looking Back

Cute little Ella.... You started out so sweet & shy! Now your still sweet but not so shy! You have the cutest smile ever, it lights up the room! You make us so happy & bring us so much joy! You have been talking up a storm. Some of my favorite things you say right now are: knock it off, mines, I'm cooking, no like it, my blanky, teethes hurt, hungie, please momma, minute, my special, & Dorie Couch. ( this means you want to watch Dora on the couch. ) Your a "little" obsessed with her right now. You've also started to call me Omi . Get it Omi, please! You make it so hard to say no. Your Turing into a little sassy pants. You do not like sharing ANY of your toys. It's a constant fight. Your slowly learning, but this will need some time. You LOVE babies & are the sweetest momma ever. No one else is allowed to play with them. Even when it's not one of yours. You still are obsessed with your special blanky. It goes every where with you. When I am holding you, I am not allowed to even touch it! You'll move my hand away ! You look for your special corner to suck your thumb. Thankfully it's still in one piece. You are becoming a Daddy's girl & love to CUDDLE with him. You go get your blanky & tell him "SNUGGLE". This mean you want him to hold you! It's the cutest thing ever! I am insanely jealous! You love to read books. Your a little stubborn & don't always like for us to read to you.. You mostly like to flip through the pages by your self. You just want us to hold you. Your still very sensitive & get your feelings hurt easy. You have the saddest cry ever & always have big crocodile tears that follow. Your very independent & love to help out around the house. Your very smart. You can sing your ABC'S, count to six, repeat almost anything, love to play with shapes. You have also decided that you love to dance! Just like your sister! We love you & can't imagine life without you.
Happy Birthday sweetheart.

So our annual Christmas card, turned into a New Years card! I have learned my lesson for next year.... Never wait until the last minute to get that "perfect" picture. It's not happening with these two!! You''ll be forced to use the "choke hold pictures!" We are having a "professional" take over next year! Who knows, maybe we can get a real family picture! You know, the kind with the mom & the dad in them! We haven't had one of those in years!! Lame I know! Happy new to all of our friends & family. I am looking forward to a new year! One with less stress!! Is that possible, once you have kids?? I sure hope so, cause I really need one!
Blast From the Past
We've started a little tradition with the girls & Santa! We have been going each year to take a photo. This year we waited in line on Christmas Eve, for almost 2 hours to see Santa!! The line wasn't very long, but it was moving pretty slow! It was worth the wait though.... The girls were both so excited to see Santa & take a picture. As we were leaving Rylee asked, "mom where's the elves?" Wrapping presents of course, you silly girl! I love being able to look back & see how much they change. The 1st one is from last year. I love it. They seem so small!
